Sales & Management Internship

 

As a Buckle intern, I gained hands-on experience in many facets of the business—from sales and visual merchandising to hiring and store operations. During my time at Buckle, I was able to sell over $40,000 by being educated on all products and services provided by the company. I focused my efforts on inventory management, visual merchandising, floor plans, and leadership skills. Working closely with an experienced Store Manager, I developed an understanding of Buckle's products, sales presentations, and merchandising processes. The internship provided me with an opportunity to establish and grow my own department, which was shoes. While managing the shoe department I focused on developing sales forecasts and analyzing weekly reports.
